Cynthia Nixon released the following statement on reports that engineers fear collapse of a piece of the old Tappan Zee bridge, and decided today to postpone the scheduled opening of a new span of the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge indefinitely.

Democratic candidate for governor Cynthia Nixon wrapped up her multi-city statewide tour today in Kingston. Cynthia was joined by members of the Working Families Party and NYPAN, the New York affiliate of Bernie Sanders' grassroots group, Our Revolution, as well as Democratic candidate for attorney general Zephyr Teachout.

Marking Cynthia Nixon’s third day on a multi-city statewide swing, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate made stops in Schenectady and Saratoga Springs.
